Coaching is a deeply personal exploration of your hopes, your dreams, and your future, so you need to be comfortable with the person coaching you. Here’s a little bit about me to see if we’re a good match.
I’ve been in the adult training and development field for 20 years, having worked in various corporations as their internal training expert and for retail training companies. I’ve consulted on and off for companies in order to help turn around their training departments, bringing them back to health. I’ve taught everything from computer programs to professional development courses to management seminars. I truly enjoy helping people gain new knowledge or help advance themselves personally, professionally, or spiritually.
I am active with my church, having worked with youth groups for 15 years. I sing with my church choir (though they may say that the word ‘singing’ is a charitable term), and am on the leadership board of the church, helping guide its long term strategy. While I believe there is a spiritual side to our respective journeys, I am respectful of people’s beliefs and what my clients would like to discuss in their sessions.
As the picture at the top of this page shows, I am owned by four legged children. I am devoted to greyhound and galgo rescue, and have three of them in my company currently. I volunteer for a greyhound adoption shelter, and am always happy to be the conduit between a potential adopter and a retired racer. There is a lot of truth in the saying that there is no better affirmation of life than a puppy licking your face.
I’m a technology lover, and my friends often see me with my laptop or tablet. Having taught technology, I find it fascinating how far we as a society have come in the past 30 years. However, I have felt for quite some time that the technology isn’t as important as the people using it.
So, that’s me. If you think I’m someone who can help you move ahead on your own personal path, please feel free to contact me. Let’s begin the exploration of who you want to be.
